On-Site Fire Safety Compliance
Comprehensive on-site fire safety assessments to ensure your construction site meets all regulatory standards and safety requirements.
Our on-site services cover:
- Preparation of Fire Strategy Reports in accordance with Approved Document B and BS 9991.
- Addressing escape routes, fire service access, compartmentation.
A thorough review of drawings and/or site inspection to confirm that walls, floors, and other fire resisting elements achieve the required fire resistance ratings. This ensures that fire and smoke spread is effectively contained within designated areas, protecting escape routes and limiting property damage.
An on-site assessment once the buildings are operational to identify life safety risks, evaluate the adequacy of fire precautions, and recommend practical management measures. This will be completed in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Comprehensive Off-Site Fire Risk Assessments

Members of the Structural Timber Association

SSIP Certified
Additionally, The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM), Regulation 29, require the consideration of off-site fire effects as part of the risk management process.
Our reports include:
- Detailed analysis of fire spread risks to neighbouring buildings
- Guidance on timber frame category specifications
- Recommendations for effective fire risk mitigation measures
- Alternative phasing to mitigate category measures
Compliant with HSG168 & CDM Regulations 2015
Whether you are a self-builder managing a single plot or a large developer overseeing multiple phases, TAGS Compliance Group is equipped to support your off-site fire spread risk assessment needs.
Radiant Heat Plan
TAGS Compliance Group now provides specialist Radiant Heat Impact Plans to support off-site fire risk assessments.
Many fire consultants identify the need for a radiant heat plan but do not produce them. We fill that gap by delivering accurate, modelled heat-impact assessments that help clients demonstrate compliance and satisfy insurers, planners, and enforcement bodies.
Our radiant heat plans include:
- Heat radiation modelling
- Impact zones and separation distances
- Effects on neighbouring structures and boundaries
- Clear, visual diagrams for regulatory use
