HSE: Fire safety in construction

This guidance is for all those involved in construction projects who have a role in providing and managing fire safety. It will also be of interest to clients, designers, and those providing fire-safety advice. It covers the legal requirements for fire safety in construction and explains how to meet them. It includes a summary of the main duties under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO). It also provides advice on how to carry out a fire risk assessment and how to develop a fire safety plan.
